	CRIQ has recently installed new equipment designed to treat matrices contaminated with heavy metals. It is a multipurpose demonstration unit that makes research and development work possible on a wide variety of hazardous and other wastes contaminated with heavy metals.

Treatment Unit for Matrices Contaminated with Heavy Metals

The demonstration unit has a capacity of 40 tons per day. It can treat a wide range of wastes such as incinerator ash, foundry sand, waste lime and toxic sediment.
