2014

Henri Gustave-Joly-de-Lotbinière distinction. Awarded by Ordre des ingénieurs forestiers du Québec.

This prestigious award was given to CRIQ engineer Yves Dessureault at the 2nd Forum franco-québécois Bois & Forêt. The award was created so that the Order can highlight outstanding contributions from non-members to the forest industry.

2014

Winner, ADRIQ's Partnership award for the “plant of the future” innovation project.

This award is given jointly to a business and one or more research institutions that have pooled resources, shared expertise, and worked together to develop a new product, procedure, or technology in order to ensure it is then marketed or worked profitably into operations.

2014

Finalist, civil service excellence awards, in the international category. Awarded by Institut d’administration publique de Québec for creating the Réseau normalisation et francophonie (RNF) association.

This award honours projects that help advance international culture and practices in Québec.

2013

Winner, innovation award, in the occupational health and safety category. Awarded by ADRIQ for designing a tire inflation protection system.

This award is given to an organization that has shown innovation by eliminating at the source, or clearly reducing through preventive measures, dangers to the health, safety, and physical well-being of workers. This has been accomplished by designing a new product, procedure, piece of equipment, machine, tool, or system.

Named one of the top three research centres in Canada.

A Saskatchewan Research Council survey named CRIQ one of the top three research centres in Canada (along with NRC and AITF), a place where businesses can come looking for technology solutions and find answers to a variety of challenges, all under the same roof.
