Diversifying without changing everything

Getting off the beaten path and pitching products for other applications is a good recipe for profitability. That’s why P.H. Tech is looking beyond its traditional markets (doors and windows) with its latest DoubleNature™ product, a PVC frame that looks just like wood. CRIQ’s Technological Identification of Business Opportunities (TIBO) department helped the business identify new products and technology applications.

Two brainstorming sessions held with P.H. Tech and its employees pinpointed three new market segments. Each possibility was accompanied by a detailed analysis that included everything P.H. Tech required for marketing purposes. Now all that remains is for the company to choose the markets it believes hold most promise for its new DoubleNature™  technology.
